It is not surprising given the fact that the media income of families living in Bethesda is about $175,000. It houses major employers including include the National Institutes of Health, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and a number of corporate and government headquarters.
Bethesda is also home for one of the most prestigious country clubs in the world, Congressional Country Club. This course is known for hosting many major golf championships and is frequented by golfers from all over the country.
With all these great living conditions, it is no wonder that Bethesda is one of top choices for seniors and retired professionals. Just looking at the Montgomery county's website and the resources available for seniors, one can easily see that this town and the county really care about the well-being of its older population.
